in our area we have an issue with our OB physicians will test them but then are not wanting to talk about their problem and the consequences for the baby. I think they feel they will lose these patients or are just uncomfortable. Any suggestions for helping educate the OBs about these conversations?

We are having a discussion with our OB providers regarding the risks vs. benefits of universal urine drug screening of pregnant patients on admission to the hospital. Any helpful tidbits?

Do you have any advice or resources to help mothers with SAD whose baby dies? In my past experience many mom's leave a supportive environment in the hospital, but in my follow up I oftentimes am unable to contact them post discharge.

this is a truly tragic event - there are support groups for people w pregnancy loss that can be helpful -- also short term follow up, and even tele follow up for all people w SUD in the postpartum period
