For example, 2021 improvements in health insurance subsidies in Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplaces have been game-changers for enhanced affordability for working Americans. Now Congress must decide whether to renew these & other changes beyond 2022 & whether to close the Medicaid coverage gap affecting low-income households in Alabama & 11 other states. What has happened in U.S. health policy over the past 30 months (COVID19- & non-COVID19-related) & what lies ahead? What’s known & what’s currently unknowable? Our guest presenter, an architect of the ACA & prior Massachusetts coverage reforms, will present & discuss.
